Chicago Day 1

After Christian and I checked in to our hotel, we headed out to grab some dinner. We hadn’t eaten all day and figured why not grab pizza? Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria was a five minute walk from the hotel so we opted for that. Christian asked the server for a local brew. Our server Shawn suggested the Matilda, a wheat ale that’s very hoppy. Not to mention it was a Belgian Ale. My faves. We ordered calamari for appetizer which was really good and so was the tangy cocktail sauce it came with. Shawn suggested “the Lou” for our meal. It’s a veggie pizza but we added sausage with it. Sooo good! I love deep dish pizza. I can’t wait to eat more of it tomorrow :)
